1. Acceptance

By using meltybit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

meltybit provides free online tools that turn pictures, links and text into bead patterns (such as Perler, Hama and Artkal fuse bead patterns and bead QR codes). No account is required. The tools run in your web browser.

3. Your pictures and patterns

Pictures you add are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. You keep all rights to your pictures and to the patterns you make.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any picture you convert, and for how you use the resulting pattern. Please respect other people’s copyrights and trademarks — for example, character artwork you do not own may not be used commercially.

4. Bead colors and scan tests

Bead colors are matched using community-maintained color references and are approximations; real beads vary by brand, batch, lighting and screen. QR code scan tests are simulations that indicate whether a design is likely to scan; we cannot guarantee that every finished piece will scan with every device.

5. Trademarks

Perler, Hama, Artkal and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. meltybit is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Brand names are used only to identify bead colors.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe the rights of others, distribute malware, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.

7. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including wasted beads or materials.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
