Every square of one color has the same number on the chart, so just use a different bead for that number: gray for a gray tabby, brown for a chocolate dachshund.
A white patch, a different collar color or a spot over one eye is only a few beads, and it makes the pattern unmistakably your pet.
For a true portrait, upload a photo of your pet to the pattern maker. A clear face or side shot on a plain background works best.
Dinosaurs for a dino party, fish and turtles for an under-the-sea party: bead one for every guest.
Glue a small magnet on the back. A row of cats or dogs on the fridge makes a fun set.
The smaller animals, like the black cat and baby turtle, are the right size. Keep a bead hole open near the top for the ring.
String the fish and turtles on fishing line for an ocean mobile, or tie a row of animals along a ribbon.
Want even smaller animals? Try our small Perler bead patterns, all 14 × 14 beads or smaller.
Eyes, noses and spots are one or two beads each. Put them down first, then fill in the fur, scales or shell around them.
Tails, legs, horns and fins are often one bead wide. Iron them fully on both sides so they don’t snap off later.
Every animal here fits on one large square pegboard (29 × 29 pegs), so you never have to join boards.
Iron the front, let it cool flat under a book, then flip it and iron the back so the piece stays strong and flat.
Not sure about heat and timing? Follow our step-by-step ironing guide.
