Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-13
This policy explains what information meltybit ("we") collects when you use the site, and why.
1. Pictures and content you add
Pictures, links, Wi-Fi details and text you enter into our tools are processed in your browser, on your own device. They are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
2. No accounts
meltybit does not have user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or other contact details to use the tools.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages and features are used, so we can improve the site. This may include Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, and Google Analytics. Analytics data is reported in aggregate and is not used to identify you.
4. Cookies and local storage
We store small preferences in your browser, such as your light/dark theme choice and your cookie choice. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any optional analytics cookies are set, and can change their choice at any time by clearing site data.
5. Children
meltybit is a general-audience crafting site that is often used by families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the tools work without anyone providing personal information.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Technical and analytics data is processed by the service providers named above on our behalf.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not collect personal details directly, most requests can be handled by clearing your browser’s site data. For anything else, contact us.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes (for example, if we add new features). The date at the top shows when it last changed.
9. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to the email address in the footer of this site.
